- 250 g chicken thigh or breast
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 4 green onions, sliced diagonally
- 3 garlic cloves
- frying oil
- sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 large pinch of black pepper
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey

Cut the chicken into thin strips.

Mix the marinade ingredients and add the chicken strips.

Let marinate for 15 min.

Remove the chicken from the marinade. Break an egg white into the marinated chicken. Mix.

Coat each piece with cornstarch. Make sure all chicken strips are separated. Remove excess starch before frying.

Deep fry the chicken strips in oil for 1 to 2 min until golden and crispy.

Remove the pieces and transfer to paper towels to drain.

Mix the soy sauces, lemon juice, and honey in a bowl.

Heat the wok (or pan) over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil, add the garlic and stir for a few seconds.

Then add the sauce mixture. Let simmer for 5 seconds before adding the chicken strips and green onions. Mix well over high heat for 1 to 2 min.

Sprinkle the chicken pieces with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
