What is TDEE?
TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) represents the total number of calories your body burns in a day. It is calculated from your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) multiplied by a physical activity factor.
Mifflin-St Jeor Formula
This formula is considered the most accurate for estimating basal metabolic rate. It takes into account weight, height, age and gender.
BMR (male) = 10 × weight + 6.25 × height - 5 × age + 5
BMR (female) = 10 × weight + 6.25 × height - 5 × age - 161
TDEE = BMR × activity factor
