- 4 slices of high-quality ham, rindless, reduced-salt, Bleu Blanc Coeur U
- 800 g extra mature Cheddar U SAVEURS
- 25 cl brown ale
- 1 unsliced loaf of country bread
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of old-fashioned mustard
- pepper
- 25 g butter

Slice the cheddar into strips and place in a saucepan with the beer, old-fashioned mustard, and pepper.

Cut 4 slices of rustic bread about 1.5 cm thick.
