Ingredients
6 servings
- cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- pepper
- salt
- 1 onion
- 2 zucchinis
- 3 nice pieces of chicken
- oil
- 2 handfuls of chickpeas
- clarified butter (for roasting)
- 500 g of tlitli
Steps
- 1
In a pot, add the oil and grated onion, then add the chicken, salt, pepper, and a pinch of cinnamon; let it cook over medium heat for a few minutes. Then add the chickpeas, zucchini, and water. Let it cook.
- 2
Toast the tlitli in a pan over low heat until they turn a beautiful golden color. Once the pasta is toasted, coat it with oil. Place the tlitli in a couscoussier and steam it. When steam begins to rise from the top of the couscoussier, count 10 to 15 minutes and remove the tlitli. Place it in a large bowl and sprinkle with a little water. Let it absorb well, then put it back in the couscoussier and let it steam again. Repeat this operation until the tlitli becomes tender (for me, twice).
- 3
Once the sauce is ready, remove the chicken pieces and zucchini, then pour the tlitli into the sauce for 4 to 5 minutes so it absorbs the sauce and is ready. Brown the chicken in the oven (optional) with a little butter, serve with hard-boiled eggs and the chicken.
