Ingredients
8 servings
- 35 g peanuts (roasted at 160°C for 10 minutes)
- 60 g dark chocolate (or any other chocolate)
- 25 g peanut butter (or caramel cream - vegan or non-vegan)
- 8 dates (Medjool dates)
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
- 8 small pinches of salt
Steps
- 1
Place your dates on a wooden board and slice one side of each lengthwise. Remove the pit if there is one.
- 2
Add a small teaspoon of peanut butter (or caramel cream - vegan or otherwise) to the center. Be careful that it does not overflow from the date and that there is enough room for your peanuts.
- 3
Finally, add your peanuts on top of your filling (about 3-5).
- 4
Melt your dark chocolate with half a teaspoon of coconut oil in the microwave or in a double boiler. Coat your dates with the melted chocolate using two forks.
- 5
Add a small pinch of salt to each date and let rest in the freezer for 15-20 minutes so that the chocolate solidifies. Enjoy!
